A functional assessment is an assessment of the ability to perform the tasks and activities that are important in everyday life. Tulip Occupational Therapy provides comprehensive functional assessments to ascertain the degree of independence a participant has when carrying out these daily tasks.
We focus on fine and gross motor skills, visual-perceptual skills, sensory integration, executive functioning and self-care skills.
Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA)
We provide comprehensive Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) to identify and document funding needs for NDIS plans. This includes assessment for: equipment, therapy, home modifications, aids and appliances, driving assessment and vehicle modification or other capacity building or daily living support needs (your future needs for NDIS funding).
Home Care Packages (HCP)
We provide services to clients with Home Care Packages such as functional capacity assessments, home modifications, support in applying for assistive technology such as walking aides and dressing aides and helping clients become more independent in everyday tasks.
